About
Kia Ora, I'm Ruku I'Anson
I developed Te Poutama Ora to support the restoration of identity, whakapapa, wairua, and wellbeing through a kaupapa Māori approach to counselling.
Healing begins when we can reconnect with who we are, where we come from, and what gives life meaning. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or life transitions, I provide a safe and culturally grounded space to walk alongside you. Together, we work towards restoring identity, strengthening wellbeing, and creating lasting change through the Te Poutama Ora framework.
I provide individual wellness counselling in English, informed by Te Poutama Ora and drawing on Paiheretia, Te Whare Tapa Whā, and kaupapa Māori values.
Online counselling is available throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
